22nd September 2020 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: F6 Surf / Sea State: Waves Air Temperature: 15 Sea Temperature: 15.9 Weather: Light sun Max Speed: Distance Covered: More wind and bigger waves than forecast and only small wind chop so nice. 4.7m was spot on in bit gusty conditions and some ridable waves logo high though I chickened out to practice on smalerl waves; then 'what the hell' and tried a couple of bigger ones and went better. Watching others I think I sometimes go too slow and start turning into wave too late, but better on bigger waves and when I sped up today. Wind eased after an hour to 5m and waves got messy as tide so high so packed up tired. Unpacking I realised I had packed 6m instead of 5.3m after rearranging storage so couldn't have changed up anyway. Good turns on big swells further out. Should have gone earlier for longer time. Good day |
